About Shine Once More

Giving Beautiful Jewelry a Second Life

Welcome to Shine Once More.

I'm Ella , the founder of Shine Once More. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and have proudly called Savannah, Georgia home for many years. Living in one of America's most historic cities has deeply influenced my appreciation for timeless design. Surrounded by centuries-old architecture, oak-lined streets, antique shops, and a rich artistic community, I developed a love for objects that carry history—and vintage jewelry became a natural extension of that passion.

What began as a personal fascination has grown into a career spanning more than a decade.

Every vintage piece has a story. I simply help it find its next chapter.

More Than a Jewelry Store

At Shine Once More, we believe beautiful jewelry shouldn't be forgotten simply because it has been loved before.

Vintage jewelry represents something increasingly rare in today's world—careful craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and lasting quality.

Unlike modern mass-produced jewelry, many vintage pieces were created during a time when artisans paid extraordinary attention to detail. They were made to be worn, treasured, repaired, and passed from one generation to the next.

Our mission is simple:

To give beautiful jewelry a second life.

Every ring, pendant, bracelet, brooch, or pair of earrings is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and timeless beauty before joining our collection.

Carefully Prepared, Never Over-Restored

One question we hear often is:

"Do you clean your vintage jewelry?"

Absolutely—but we do so with great care.

Every piece is individually prepared before it is photographed and listed for sale.

Depending on the jewelry and its condition, our preparation process may include:

  • Professional ultrasonic cleaning (when safe for the materials)
  • Gentle sanitizing
  • Light hand polishing
  • Careful inspection before shipping

Our goal is not to make vintage jewelry look brand new.

Instead, we remove years of everyday buildup so the jewelry can reveal its natural beauty while preserving the character that only time can create.

Many vintage pieces develop a soft patina over the years. In many cases, that patina enhances fine details and tells part of the jewelry's story. Whenever appropriate, we intentionally preserve those features rather than polishing them away.

We believe vintage jewelry should still look vintage—it should simply look its very best.

Authenticity Matters

Trust is one of the most important parts of buying vintage jewelry.

Every piece is individually inspected before being offered for sale.

Whenever possible, we examine:

  • Metal purity marks
  • Hallmarks and maker's marks
  • Construction and craftsmanship
  • Design characteristics
  • Overall condition

Whenever original hallmarks or signatures are present, they're photographed and included in the listing whenever possible, allowing you to see exactly what you're purchasing.

Our descriptions are written honestly and accurately because we believe every customer deserves complete confidence when shopping for vintage jewelry online.

Jewelry with History

Most of our collection dates from the 1950s through the 1990s, with occasional antique pieces that are over 100 years old.

Whenever possible, we research each piece using its hallmarks, design style, construction techniques, and maker's marks to provide historical context.

Not every vintage piece comes with a documented history—but every piece carries one.

Whether it once celebrated an anniversary, marked a graduation, or simply brought someone joy in everyday life, each item represents a small piece of history waiting to be appreciated again.

Why We Love Vintage

Vintage jewelry is more than beautiful.

It's sustainable.

Instead of mining new precious metals or producing another piece of jewelry, choosing vintage gives an existing treasure another opportunity to be worn and loved.

It's a quieter, more thoughtful way to enjoy fine jewelry while preserving craftsmanship from another era.

Every piece has already stood the test of time.

Our job is simply to help it continue its journey.
